Insanity Complex

So we love insanity skate park , I’m gonna start with that. We don’t have many places like this and I love the good wholesome fun that this place offers. Last year we booked my son’s birthday party and to say the amount of fun and help we had from our hostess was 10/10. The reason I’m giving this a 4 though is due to the lack of response this place has. From January first till literally 2 weeks from my daughters birthday I could not get anyone to respond to a email or a phone call nearly calling every Thursday-Sunday I could not get anyone on the phone practically. I did find out the woman who books the parties was out due to I believe being sick so I understand but even back in august with my sons party I had no choice but to drive down there to book the party cause phones don’t get answered very often due to lack of staff. So if you want to book a party I highly suggest just going down there and putting the deposit down. I also highly suggest if you are gonna have a large party book the larger room. The regular party rooms are super small. They have a larger one I believe they charge a extra 75$ for and worth the extra cost. Now back to my daughters birthday, from my understanding it was quite a few parties going on so I get the lack of seeing my hostess , but it felt like every time me and my husband turned around we were having to chase someone to get our pizza or get anything we needed. They did offer a extra hour in the room which was fabulous but if I was to compare it with the service our hostess from my sons birthday in august I would say the treatment was night and day. My sons birthday hostess was 10/10 on top of it! She helped me the minute I walked in the door helping me grab supplies from my car let me park my car by the door the whole time to get stuff out, even changed the table cloths to match his birthday theme cause they were the wrong color, I didn’t even make a mention of this but she noticed when I started putting balloons out and she noticed they were red and black and they had blue cloths on the table. She had pizza out the min guest where there , had ice cream followed right after , helped me find a place to take photos outside as we had confetti canons we did . She was awesome! Going forward I still would absolutely book this place again I just would say phones and emails need to be returned asap specially if it’s parties being book I also had to get permission to even have my daughters party cause the person when I finally did get a hold of her said she had to call and get permission to book a party which was odd. I guess they were really full on parties. I’d also say if a hostess is in charge of a room where a party is happening if she’s overwhelmed or need help you maybe tag team and make sure if you can’t make it to the area to check up on the guest at least have someone who can run in and say hey how’s it going do you need anything. Cause we ran out of dr.pepper and I don’t think if ever got refilled. Kids were slightly annoyed by that but it is what it is. I know with the lengthy review that it might seem like I was disappointed with the services but really I think it’s just communication that was lacking. If it wasn’t for that I would have given this place a 5 out of 5. I really really still highly recommend as a go to skate park for family fun. Lots to do with skating and a rock climbing and laser tag and baseball cages.
