This was our second stay here--the first was 6 years ago. Rooms were improved, but otherwise didn't notice huge changes. Overall, no major complaints. Staff was friendly. Big thanks to housekeeping for keeping the room and public spaces clean. All F&B staff were cheerful and attentive. The pool area had a good vibe. Tennis courts were well maintained. If I have any complaints its that the food and drink prices are not commensurate with the quality. Can't blame the hotel for it, but it is quite out there geographically-speaking. It takes a while to get to/from the hotel--but that's true of everything in Tucson. Would like to see a few more activities available. If we return to Tucson we will definitely consider another stay.
This is a fantastic place to stay. Staff are very courteous and helpful. Our room was spotless, with a lovely view. And the views of the mountains behind the hotel are gorgeous! We had a fun walk up Ventana Canyon Trail right behind the property. We can't wait to come back.
