You have to at least visit this place once. The backdrop of the desert and mountain range makes you feel that you time traveled to the old west. They actors, restaurants and historic places were inexpensive to visit. I believe traveling in spring or fall would be a perfect time to visit.

This is a well-preserved historical place. There are many little-known facts to learn about the town and Western life. Make no mistake that the gunfight at the OK is everywhere but that was ok with me. Even the gunfight is a better glimpse of history than the movie. I went just to see the gunfight but stayed there several more hours enjoying the history.
