The rooms were nice, love the city of Tubac, the meal and service in the resort restaurant was outstanding, love the setting, but the golf course is run more poorly than any course I have played at half the price. They had tee times 5 minutes apart and after being told we were on schedule we got to the first tee at our designated time and there were 4-foursomes waiting on this first tee. They have not maintained the course well at all, but they still charge $140 green fee. So even with everything else being highly rated, I rate this 1 star overall because of how poorly the course was maintained, managed and the rudeness of the staff on the course. They are sitting on a gold mine, but I can’t believe anybody would go back a second time to play the course
Came for Christmas and met family who had rented a casita suite. The room was so beautiful, cozy and very clean. We dined at Stables Restaurant, and the food was very good. It was a buffet for Christmas, and there were so many options, and the food was all hot, fresh and delicious. I'm not a fan of buffets, but I would definitely return for this! I highly recommend this resort and can't wait to come back.
