It's a small place at the edge of a housing development, where the walking path might be just under a 1/4 of a mile consisting of dirt and wooden boardwalk sections. Once you start the path , you are almost immediately in nature giving you views of the Baywood area of Los Osos, the town of Morro Bay and its famous rock and stacks.
A small preserve that is great for birding. Bring a scope to be able to see all the waterfowl that might be in the bay.
