Great mtn. Lots of terrain choices. Good service. Love the skiing!!! Very crowded on weekends. Biggest negative is the Food Service - very limited food variety and small portion size for the cost. If you like burgers, chicken fingers, and pizza, you are in luck.. they are served everywhere. Very few other choices. Gone are the salad bar and potato bar, Reuben and pastrami sandwiches of the past. Lunch Rock cafe at Maryjane has better choices but even higher prices! Quantity of French fries is Ridiculously small - if you have a teenager forget it. Breakfast choices are even worse - eat breakfast before you arrive. Eggs - no. And Gone are the great waffle station and oatmeal of the past. A very DRY breakfast burrito or cinnamon role are about the only items.
Most snowfall out of any CO ski/snowboarding resort! Lots of fun snowboarding options for all skill levels. I found the lift tickets to be the most affordable as well (at least during the 24/25 season). Lots of great places to stay in Fraser, excellent restaurants, and snowboarding shops. Highly recommend Powder Tools for snowboarding gear/repairs. Very friendly, knowledgeable, staff. Everyone at Winter Park was friendly (lift operators and restaurants). Yearly destination for me, family, and friends. Even saw some moose on the trail this year!
