Hollywood Connection Family Fun Center

I have been coming to Hollywood Skating Rink since 2005, and I am extremely disappointed with how much it has gone downhill over the years. What used to be a fun and well-maintained place for families and skaters has now turned into an overpriced, dirty, and poorly managed facility. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the rink was unacceptable. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy, showing clear signs of neglect. The diner area was just as bad; there were cups, food, and trash left all over the tables and floors with no effort from staff to clean up. For a place that charges premium prices, basic sanitation should not be an issue. Speaking of prices, everything here is ridiculously expensive for what you get. Charging $5 just for a parent to watch their child skate is absurd, especially considering the lack of seating and overall poor conditions of the facility. The rental skates are so old and worn out that they are barely usable. At this point, they should have been replaced years ago. To top it all off, the staff was unprofessional. The cashier told me my total would be $21, yet I was charged $20.98. While the difference is minor, it just shows a lack of attention to detail and care for customers. If they can’t even get simple pricing right, what does that say about the rest of their operations? It’s truly disappointing to see a place that once held great memories for me become this run-down. Unless major improvements are made, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I will be reporting these issues to ensure they are addressed.
