My family and cousins meet here once or twice a year for the last 5+ years. In the past we never had an issue. It was always pleasant. This last weekend though is horrid. One of the employees was talking poorly about a family member in front of small children to another group that was staying there and the man at the front desk was very rude. We were letting family in to swim with us like we had in previous years with permission. No issues in the past. He was yelling at us saying we had to pay per head and had to be out by 5 because the pool had been rented out and we should have planned accordingly. I kept asking him how we should have know before booking and if there was anything posted about those rules and he started slamming his fist into the desk and screaming in my face. We just wanted to see in writing all these rules he claimed there was but nothing was shown. This was also done in front of minors. Safe to say we will not be staying there anymore. We will find somewhere else to stay that would we welcoming. I forgot to mention that the employees didn’t have an issue until my sister came in with her mixed children. Seems questionable to me…
If I could rate lower I would. We checked in and had reservations for a room with fridge and microwave. Traveling with young children so a must have. Once in the room there was none. I asked the front desk to be turned away, and told I could just pay the cancellation fee and cancel. Chose to walk away and still stay. When getting my kids ready for bed I found the blankets were full of blood splatters. Upon this fact and showing the the front desk help she said well I will have maintenance bring new but don’t think you will get a discount. She is seriously the worst service and experience I have ever had. The only bright side has been the maintenance staff was very apologetic and sincere. He deserves to work at a better facility.
