AirFX Trampoline Park

**ATTN if you are planning a birthday party here!** We purchased the basic party package and were very pleased with how easy the booking was and the whole process leading up to the day of the party. They initially take out a deposit (this is around $53). My thought was that we would then walk into AirFX and pay the remaining $200 but that is not the way this goes. We ordered some pizzas and drinks and then towards the end of the party (while I was in the middle of trying to pass out cake) our server asked for payment. My husband walked over and blindly handed him his card to run. My husband also selected the 20% tip option. The options on the tablet go 20% and 15% and then I'm sure you have to go searching for some other amount. Anyways, this ended up being on the entire amount. They calculate the full $250 booking fee, then all the add on things from when we were there, That means he left the server a $67 tip. This is a tip for two hours of service and a half hour of it our server was on his break and we were completely without any drinks, including water. We never would have tipped this young man $67. We were also charged for an extra pitcher of soda (that the manager so kindly took off for us at the end). It is not clear about the $53 deposit being taken off as it is apparently something they write in at the end. The whole process seemed very deceptive to us and in my opinion, a very disreputable way of doing business. If you are booking a $250 package and are leaving a 20% you are already at $300 before you even enter the building. Your tip amount should not be based on the package price overall. If that's the case, charge $300 for the package in general and give the staff some more money. At least then we know we are AT LEAST $300 deep when booking. Our party ended up being over $400. Over $400 for 2 hours, 2 tables, 3 pizzas, 2 pitchers of soda, and a server that was on his break for 1/4 of our time there... but our daughter did receive a Tshirt and a water bottle. Yay. We will never book a party here again and I just wanted to let everyone know our experience so that maybe you can learn from our mistakes. Our daughter and all of the other kids did have a wonderful time so I guess there was a positive takeaway.
