We visited when only the indoor part was open. There wasn’t a lot to do, after a couple hours we headed to our hotel. Concessions were a little pricey as well. Another important thing to consider, is the high amount of chlorine. We had to immediately shower after swimming due to itchiness. Our toddler swallowed some water and had diarrhea that night. The hotel was nice, a little out of date. Elevator was pretty slow, lot of wait time. Overall, the children had fun. Nothing was overly upsetting to us. I’m sure this place is 10x more fun when the outdoors part is open.
I live in Storm Lake, so I've never stayed in the hotel, however, we've been to the water park several times and it's always a blast. The kids enjoys hours of entertainment for a great price. The pool area is always clean. The lifeguards and staff are kind and helpful. The concessions are delicious. It is located right next to the lake, so you enjoy a great view during the summer with the outdoor pool.
