I liked this park a lot, but the main reason we went was to see the bison, and only saw one and he left the visible area shortly after we got there. The trail around the bison area was also quite muddy the day we went and goes to a dead-end, it would be nice if the trail wrapped around the bison viewing area or at least looped back around to starting point. The other areas of the park are nice, pleasent spots to picnic and walk on trails. We will try to visit again in the spring to see more bison hopefully.
Beautiful place! Wish we had more time. Great for children and adults. There is a path for a stroller /wheelchair but the last half of the walk was unpaved. We were able to make it all the way to the end in a double stroller but it was a bumpy ride. You do not need to go to the end to enjoy the beauty. I'd suggest to pack a lunch since there are picnic tables outside of the visitor center. Inside there are bathrooms some cool artifacts and a cute little gift shop. Highly suggest to visit if you like nature.
