Been coming multiple times a year and absolutely love this place. The fishing in the area is fantastic and the staff is really nice and helpful. The power outlets by the old fish cleaning station needs to be repaired though, they haven’t worked the last couple of trips and that makes it difficult to charge boat batteries!
This used to be my all time favorite place to take my children. I have been there over 7 times. In fact my original review is posted on the website. I have just come back from another trip there. We rented two cabins and two golf carts this time totaling almost $2,000 only to be very upset by what it has become. The whole 4 days we were there the paddle boats floated all over the pond unsecured to the dock made to get in them easily, my family took the pontoon paddle boat out only for the chain to pop off and leave them stranded, my deaf son didn’t know and the last night there he took a different one and got stranded out so far I had to find someone with a boat to go rescue him. The water bikes and pontoon paddle boats are all messed up. Chains don’t stay on causing it to stop working. The storm poured all the muddy water into the pool so we didn’t have the only 6ft pool there to use as well. The water park is nice but not much for teenagers. We stayed in cabin 13 and 20 and the king size bed in 13 felt like a piece of plywood with a blanket on it. Definitely not worth $2,000 and sad to say we probably will not be returning!
