Absolutely amazing experience. Have done the Pictured Rocks cruise multiple times and this was a totally unique and fun experience comparatively. Zoom around Grand Island on a speed boat and get up close and personal to cliffs, waterfalls, and wildlife. We saw 6 bald eagles when we went! Smaller boat than the Pictured Rocks cruise allows getting even closer to the sights. Be prepared to get soaked, especially if you sit in the front couple rows as the captain does some high speed maneuvers that create some waves and spray. Very fun experience and will definitely be doing it again when we visit again in the future.
I had a blast! I bought tickets in advance and showed up about an hour before our scheduled trip to get in line for good seats. The captain was entertaining and informative! I was in the 3rd row and got a bit wet; the front row got soaked. I was grateful for the nice weather! The boat is fast and the maneuvers were fun! We got close to the shoreline of Grand Island and saw several eagles. I highly recommend Riptide Ride as an exciting boat tour!
