Came for a bachelorette party awhile back. Cabin was dirty even though they “cleaned” it for 3 hours, I’m talking pubic hairs on the toilet seat and hair in the sink, dead bugs etc. staff at the bar were rude. Marine manager was extremely rude, he messed up our reservation by double booking us and then had the audacity to throw a fit at us and then go out to the parking lot to throw another tantrum to the rest of our group. He basically said there was nothing he could do and thank god there was a random pontoon a guy was chartering and let us book with him. Will never be back which is sad because our family has spent so much money there in the past.
Stay somewhere else. Terrible lodging and customer service. Spent over $700 to stay in a Villa for two nights. Dishes were dirty, needed to be vacuumed and the AC didn't work. We were staying with two babies so AC was important for a hot weekend. They said they'd fix it and didn't. Also smoke detectors were not installed and just laying around. Stairs were very steep with no functional railing at the top, not to code. (A good lawsuit if you're looking for one). Worst part is they said they'd bring it up to management and that they'd call me before charging my credit card and never did. They gave me a measly $40 credit and charged a $125 cleaning fee when the place was gross. Stay at the casino instead.
