check in was smooth. room was well cleaned. the jacuzzi tub in the king suit was amazing. breakfast was good quiet a few selections to choose from. put-put got a little competitive, but a great time for sure. Russ was spot on with advice on hiking, sites, and places to eat. overall great service, very tidy and clean!!!
Super great hotel. We actually came to see the fall colors at it's peak the first weekend of October in Lutsen but decided to book rooms here. Russ, the general manager, was more than accommodating. He explained everything to us and made sure we felt like we were home. Super nice gentleman. We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast included - cereal, breakfast sandwiches, fruits, orange juice, scrambled eggs and pancakes. Our second time staying here, definitely will be back. Pool was opened until 10 pm for kids, midnight for adults. They have an outdoor golf course that closes at midnight (fun for both kids ans adults). Also, there's a grocery store across the street and a McDonald's literally walking distance from the hotel.
