Played several rounds at Hail Ridge the past weekend and course is in really good shape. Very interesting layout, great par 3's and a wonderful place to get a round of golf in.
Fairway was struggling under heat this year. Also, the greens were aerated and tore up, so don’t plan on working on your short game here for the near future. In fact the greens are no fun to putt on right now. No sand traps. Good mix of par 3,4,5s. Water hazards on a few holes. Narrow, but paved cart paths. Holes follow a good flow that was natural to navigate from hole to next tee. Ground on fairways is very hard, so ball bounce is high, for better or worse. Fees seem a bit high for the quality.
