The most peaceful golf experience I’ve ever had! Just driving through the winding road of trees to arrive you get a sense that it’s going to be a special day. Take the extra time to check out the beautiful Clubhouse & get some gear for memories from the pro shop. Great driving range and practice areas, Friendly staff all around from arrival to mid-round, on-course, and post-round, everyone we encountered could not be happier. Coming from packed golf courses with people on all sides and holes squeezed on top of one another, this was a tremendous change of pace, and how golf is truly meant to be played. This is one course where it is truly hard to leave and must be a yearly stop for any passionate golfer. (Played June 2023 but will be back soon!)
Great experience. Played June 29 and 30, and the course was in splendid shape. Manicured well, greens had barely a mark on them, bunkers played true. Highly recommend playing Grand Bear. Our second day there, Sarah helped us with the cart and ran cold towels out to us... she made a difference - thank you! BONUS TIP: get a breakfast sandwich from the restaurant...they are outstanding!
