My son and I visited the Franklin Square so we could check out the Chinese Lantern Festival. When I tell you that there’s nothing more beautiful than being out there with your friends, family and loved one after dark -it’s not just something I’m just saying to you. It’s the truth! The vivid colors of the lanterns seem to speak to both adults and children alike because we didn’t hear a child cry the entire time we were there. The paths are even more gorgeous the longer you look up to so be sure to do that. There was a performance by a young lady that reminded me of time in my childhood when kids spent all day outside playing with hoola-hoops. And an ACROBATIC performance by two young men who should probably be in the Olympics. ☺️ But what do I know? Anyway, there’s plenty of delicious food all around. With the exception of the DAN-DAN noodles which are served cold. So, be mindful of this. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Came here for the Lantern Festival. Beautiful! So much to see. We came while the sun was setting, but definitely gets better as it gets darker. Noticed a dumpling workshop, but didn't go in. Family had a great time!
