Fun Warehouse

We were just looking for a place to get a quick go-kart ride in. Immediately we noticed the place was very clean; and that the games, equipment, and facilities were well maintained. So many fun things to do in one place! The Go-Karts were super cool. We were surprised by the interactive elements. It was our first time riding Go-Karts that have spots on the ground that provide speed boosts or slow you down. It felt like real life Mario Kart! The whole place and the activities felt really safe. In addition to a large staff of people who seem attentive and knowledgeable, they play a high quality instructional video prior to your ride that not only tells you everything you need to know about controlling the kart, but all of the safety rules and tips as well. Our only complaint was that the karts are pretty small, which is fine - we don’t expect the whole world to be made for large adults - but when we purchased tickets from the ticket counter, a heads up from the customer service employee would have been nice. This would have helped us make a better informed decision on who would be the driver. I understand it would be difficult to tell someone they probably won’t fit into something, but ultimately this is a safety issue and it would be okay to fib a little such as “just so you’re aware these karts are designed for kids so the fit might be a little too snug for you”. Once we already signed the waiver(s) and purchased the tickets it felt like more of a hassle to change our mind. (Not to mention having an upsetti spaghetti 4 year old to deal with.) We awkwardly went through with the ride, but may have made a different choice had we been warned. Overall we were impressed by this place and wish we had more time to hang around and take advantage of all the cool activities Fun Warehouse has to offer! I expected to see an arcade when I walked in, but not a skating ring! If we find ourselves in the area, we will definitely visit again with more time to waste and smaller people for driving go-karts! Note/Tip- The best spot for watching/photos of go-kart riders is outside the facility. There is no access to outside from the indoor area where the riders enter the track, so you have to go back out the front door and walk around to the side where you can stand outside the fence by the track. There is an emergency exit door on the inside area but I was personally too shy to ask if we can use it despite there being no emergency, so I’m not sure what the view would be like when exiting that way.
