Reviews
Rushmore Shadows is a great RV resort. Some spots are tight, but ours was comfortable. The pool is very nice. Clean showers and restrooms. The laundry area is clean with 6 washers and 8 dryers, so it's easy to get in and out quickly. The roads are paved, so it was nice riding our bicycles around the park. The store is large and almost everything you may need when camping. The women working there are super nice, friendly, and helpful. We were even able to get mail delivered there. We also had a hailstorm on July 29. We were very lucky to only have our picnic table tablecloth and seat pads torn up. Lots of people had damage to their campers. But that isn't a reflection on the resort. It was a GREAT stay and we would definitely go back again.
The camping spot we had was in a row with all the other campers. I gather that RV camping is often about the people you meet. The pool was great, and I had a nice conversation with a guy in the hot tub. The bathrooms and showers were great. I never saw anybody else in there. Very clean. There were plenty of free sport activity for the kids.
