I would rate this negative if I could. Curiocity is a total disaster. I get it, it’s a kids area and it doesn’t stay clean long, but nobody was in there and it was chaos. Then the area where the kids can climb around on different equipment, is absolutely disgusting. The clumps of hair hanging off the balloon pit area is outrageous. The grime all over the floors in these areas just scream infection. We then proceeded over to the arcade where almost half the games don’t even work. And there were some games that take your money before you would know they didn’t work. The staff is young and seems like they couldn’t care less about service. Don’t get me wrong there are some that seem like they care, but more needs to be done with this place. There is nothing around Abilene to really do with young kids so it’s disappointing that the one place you go to will take your money while getting your kids sick.

Visited here while on vacation. They have a wide variety of options for people of all ages. We did mini-golf, bumper cars, mirror maze, arcades, and (for the little ones) CurioCity. CurioCity cost us about $14 per kid for 2 hours, which is pretty on par with independent play places, so while at first glance it seemed too expensive, it actually was reasonably priced. It also has some really neat things to play with, from "play street" sort of things like a grocery store, fire department, doctor's office, pet adoption center, etc.; to toy excavators that actually operate; and more. Some things had been repaired with tape and a few things looked a bit worn. But overall, the places kids could reach were clean and the kids loved it. (All photos I'm posting are from CurioCity.)
