The Sunrise course is in the worst shape that I have seen in years! Sprinkler heads leaking, several greens are in bad shape. The golf carts need to be retired, worn out. This used to be one of the best golf courses in El Paso. The Ft Bliss MWR should be ashamed for letting this course get like this.
People complain about the quality of the grass, yet fail to recognize we live in an arid desert. Underwood during a good rainy season is magnificent. Had my one and only drive here that was above 350 yards. 385, I’ll never forget it. Broke 80 here the first time. It’s a wonderful course with many wonderful memories.
