Cedar Ridge Golf Course

This is my home course, so I both got a little bit of bias because it's so close and I'm so familiar with it, but also know it's flaws. Beautiful municipal course that can be played fairly quickly on a good day. The setting in the Red Rock hills makes a number of these holes quite beautiful. Generally, the fairways are kept in great shape and the greens roll really nicely. If there is any complaint to be made, it's that the tee boxes on a few holes can be in pretty rough shape and because they don't do tee times, the course can get fairly crowded and slow at times. I'm torn myself about the concept of making tee times the general standard of the course, because it takes away from the quaint and fun small town feel of this course, but Cedar City is growing and it's making for a very difficult course to play at times when one can't find any rhythm waiting 10 minutes for each shot
