We came here on December 27, knowing full well the bowling balls were beat up and the floors weren't oiled. We asked about their before 5 pricing, and they said they weren't doing it because of the holidays. We asked about putting bumpers up for some of the players, and they said they could. When our first player went to bowl, only the left side came up. When I went to ask about it, the employee said, "I apologize, I told you they were working. For that, we can just put the bumpers up for everyone, cause it usually gets stuck coming up and down." I asked if we could switch to another lane. He said "unfortunately, we don't have any available lanes, most of them have issues with the bumpers." That is pretty impressive, since only 5 of the 18 lanes were occupied, meaning that 13 of 18 lanes must be broken. Seems like if you paid full price for bowling, you should receive a functional lane, even if the quality isn't the best. A discounted rate or another lane would have made sense in this scenario, or they could have told us their lanes were broken before we paid full price for one. At least the staff was polite about it.
