4/2/22-It’s opening day for the mini golf at Locust Shade Park. It was our first time and we had a really great time. 18 holes, adults for $6 and $5.25 for the kids. We played for about an hour and laughed and had fun. It was warm this Saturday and we thought that it might be crowded, but only two other groups were there. Six more groups as we left. Go to the driving range,(it’s the first left after entering the park), and purchase your ticket to play. Pick a ball at the counter and get a putter. Bathrooms are available here. They also have a nice driving range and a batting cage. Our next trip here will be to try out the driving range and maybe a nature trail. Maybe some fishing this summer. Enjoy!
I never been to this park before, we were heading to leesylvania when they closed the park , my friend suggested us to go here Locust Shade Park, few minutes later after seeking a spot for grilling, two helpful staff members found us in the parking lot, my friend called the park asking for information, the stuff helped us to find a grilling spot! Beyond helpful gesture. At the place they have paddles boats as well, the older gentleman was absolutely charming and welcoming, he expressed how happy it makes him seeing families enjoying the park. It feels supportive and welcoming. Great experience.
