Great local park for day visit with family. Have not camped here yet, but based on what I saw it would be a good spot! There is a lot of parking for day use, a $10 entry fee for the day. There's lots of areas to explore, nets set up for volleyball/badminton if you want to bring your own game. Section for dogs only/dog playground and seemed in general very dog friendly. There was also a very cute little snack shop that not only had super cheap and delicious ice cream/snacks-but also sold camping essentials like sunblock etc.
The RV camping area is truly a hidden gem. New playground, peaceful lake views, green grass, disc golf course throughout, it was a wonderful experience for our little family. My 2 toddler boys loved it and baby was happy too! Only thing - bring wasp spray! 2x a huge wasp would fly INSIDE of our camper! It was scary but luckily we had wasp spray to kill them. 😅 otherwise a wonderful rv camp!
