My son and I go here a few times a year. My son turns 12 in the middle of the school week plus with other after school commitments and such, today April 20, 2024 was the only day for several weeks we had the chance to go. We are celebrating his birthday starting at 3:30 this afternoon with family and friends. I got him a brand new set of clubs for his birthday and gave them to him this morning knowing today was the only chance we would have for several weeks to go hit the driving range just him and I. We got here at 11:10 to find a completely packed parking lot, no big deal people come and go at the driving range. So my son all excited to try out his new clubs and spend time with dad doing something he loves is ruined because today is the day they do there demo day. I understand why businesses do this, and I don’t think there is anything wrong with it. However closing every lane to guests so that they can’t just hit a few balls on their own is ridiculous. I am actually sitting in the parking lot writing this review with my son sitting here completely upset because his birthday is ruined. In the 10 minutes I’ve been sitting here, I have watched about 10 people show up with their clubs, walk in, and then walk back out because they too came to hit a bucket of balls but can’t. Because of the visitation schedule and other commitments, it will now be 6 weeks before we have a chance to come back. So my son doesn’t get to try out his new clubs for over a month now all because they had to have every lane for the demo stuff. In the 10 minutes we were inside the business there was only like 6 lanes actually being used with the other 10 or so lanes open, but nobody could buy a bucket of balls and hit from them. This is very disappointing, I’ve been looking forward to today for several weeks and excited to give my son his new clubs and spend a couple hours hitting a bucket or two of balls with him. I don’t know who planned this demo day, but planning it so regular customers can’t use the facilities along with those doing the demo stuff is ridiculous!
