This park isn’t really big. Might be because I was here on an off season, but I didn’t find anything interesting whatsoever. I hope the park has a nicer feel during Summer. Also parking is pretty expensive (2hrs for $10).
It's a good spot for swimming. I swam on 4/28 and 4/29, 2023. The weekend was mid 80°F The beach/ swimming area is shallow quite far out. I swam to one of bouy which shows "no wake zone" I'm 5'3". I was able to stand, and the water was about below my chin. The water was clear and saw fishes. I use a waterproof camera for taking pictures. Also, the camera showed water temperature. It was a sunny day so that the water warmed up. My camera said 65°F water temperature. I'm pretty sure the middle of the lake or deep were colder. But the park beach was very shallow. Comfortable with just swim suits.
