Ocean5

This was our second time to Ocean 5. Prior we had done the arcade and laser tag and our kids had a great time. However this time was the opposite. We arrived for our bowling reservation, the host checked us in (she clearly didn't want to be at work) and said to go to our bowling lane and she would help us on a minute. We walked down there, had no idea what to do. We waited 20 minutes! Finally the family in the lane next to ours explained to us what we do, and we just stared bowling. We never saw an employee or for help or bowling shoes? Which it states on the website. Three different times we went to the cafe to try and get drinks and were ignored. The employee in the cafe was so rude and each time I would wait about five minutes and then come back. The third time I finally asked if she was able to help. She seemed to only be working on orders that were coming through the computer. We ordered a smoothie and two pastries, she took 10 minutes to make the smoothie and only filled the cup up a little over half? But we were running to close to our laser tag reservation time to ask her to make a full smoothie? It was odd. Laser tag we were excited to be back and three of our beats during the laser tag latch stopped working, an employee helped each of us at different times get a new vest but that took away from our playing time and our overall experience. I'm not sure what happened but the first time we were at Ocean 5, the staff was helpful, happy and kind. This time it felt like we were a burden. There was no help, it felt like a rip off for all the money we spent on this family date that we truly didn't get to enjoy. I'm not sure we would waste the time and money to come back.
