Nice park right off the highway with plenty of picnic shelters. While the playground is nice a big, I wasn’t too happy with the fact that only the small toddler size slide was assessable by steps; the two large slides required climbing to get use. Now, our two year old is a sensory seeker, so he is no stranger to climbing, but they were very tall structures and require you to accompany or heavily monitor any child under 8 or isn’t especially active.
The helicopter here was so awesome! We got to go right up to it! My kids were so excited! This park is gorgeous also! There is so much to do! An amazing play structure for the kids, basketball court, baseball, horse shoe pits, lots of picnic areas and pavilions, restrooms, tennis courts, and a pool! Definitely recommend this area!
