I kind of don't want to share how much I enjoy skiing at Canaan Valley - because part of that is the fact that it isn't very crowded! I've always had a great time here, we've had BEAUTIFUL snowfall every year we've gone, and it's a nice (long) weekend getaway road trip from DC!
We remember when the building was rustic and the amenities were nice. Now the building is nice and the amenities are damaged beyond use. Love the location and the journey getting there. Generally like the staff. But management has let some of the reasons we have gone here for over 30 years decay. We hope there is some changes in the future for a place we have enjoyed and have fond memories of.
